Small Steps

Small Steps is a pilot initiative that encourages children to participate in urban planning. It introduces children to the work of local government and its basic principles. The aim is to get students involved in Sofia's problems and to give them an opportunity to discuss and propose ideas for the city's development, which will subsequently be discussed with representatives of the Sofia City Council. The project involves students from 12th Tsar Ivan Asen II Secondary School.

Small Steps is implemented in support of the global UNICEF initiative for child-friendly cities.
