Green areas registry

The project aims to create a file cabinet of all green areas (with their associated vegetation and garden and park elements) on the territory of Sofia Municipality.

To date, the development is at the stage of mapping green areas. The boundaries of the green system sites managed by the districts: Mladost, Slatina and those managed by the Green System Directorate are reflected on the map. The mapping in the Vitosha region is in the process of work.

The project envisages the creation of an information system to serve the future filing cabinet and to be an active tool in the planning, design, construction and maintenance of green spaces in the Sofia Municipality.

The project is implemented jointly by Sofiaplan, the district administrations and the Green System Directorate - SM.
