Urban agriculture development

The project aims to support the development of urban agriculture in Sofia on the idea of ​​the community Urban agriculture development initiative in Sofia. The mission of the organization is to create shared vegetable gardens on the territory of Sofia Municipality. To do this, it is first necessary to obtain information on suitable terrains where this may occur.

Together with participants in the initiative, Sofiaplan team defines a list of criteria to be used in identifying suitable terrains. The end result is a map depicting areas identified as possible for urban communal type development. The data is current as of 2018.

The ambition of the project is that in the future the map will cover all types of urban agriculture, thus facilitating communication between all stakeholders.
